SEA-Snap™
SEA-Snap™ is built on proven sister hook technology, offering an easy, single-handed ‘push to snap’ connection. It instantly takes hold and self-locks under load, providing maximum security and reliability, making it simpler and more secure than conventional carabiners, snap-hooks, and shackles.
SEA-Snap™ – The obvious choice for any offshore or marine securing task
Designed with a 4:1 safety factor, SEA-Snap™ instantly takes hold and will not release under load. For highly dynamic or long-term connections SEA-Snap™ has an integrated locking pin, to ensure accidental disconnection does not occur. Disconnection is a simple, one-handed operation, making SEA-Snap™ an obvious choice fordiver and back-deck operations.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the safety factor for the assembly?
The working load limit (WLL) is stamped on each assembly, with a safety factor of 4:1. This means the material will not yield until at least four times the WLL has been applied to the connector.
Can the connector release under load?
The SEA-Snap™ is specifically designed not to release under load. Tension must be removed from the assembly before unlocking the connector. If you require an on-load release, please contact us.
Are the connectors proof loaded?
All SEA-Snap™ units are proof-loaded to 150% of their WLL rating in-house before leaving the factory.
Is there a secondary means of locking the assembly closed?
The SEA-Snap™ 800, 1500, and 2500 models include a locking pin that allows the user to lock the assembly closed for long-term connection.
What maintenance is required?
Simply rinse the SEA-Snap™ with freshwater after use in saltwater.
